Photos my father took on a work trip abroad, with photos I took of his father’s shop in Nicosia, 2002.

“It all came together around the kitchen table. This was the first time I lived at theirs since I was a teenager. These past few days, we were, separately, coming to the same realisation. While trying to sleep at night, under the same roof, the idea was fully forming; my relationship to trust was something she passed down, and it all trickled down to the poorest past people. It wasn’t ‘cause of my lover, it wasn't ‘cause of my father, it wasn’t ‘cause of hers either – but rather ‘cause of a fifth different thing.”
